Armin Van Buuren has sat atop the trance scene for more than a decade. First seeing success in the late 1990s, his career is almost as old as Arty himself. In fact, it was a feature on Armin’s popular trance radio show, A State of Trance, for one of Arty’s first singles, “Bliss,” that helped the young hopeful to achieve commercial success back in 2009.
This time, Arty was signed on to do a remix of the title track from Armin’s sixth studio album, Embrace. With the classic trouse sound that has dominated his style, the young Russian expertly skirts the boundary between progressive house and trance. With Armin’s name on the original, the pressure was on for Arty to raise the bar, and fortunately, he’s delivered something wonderful which will no doubt be heard in both artists’ sets for months to come.
