Australian Creative Golden Vessel Releases Brilliant EP “Before Sleep”
There aren’t many times I get hit with a link that catches me off guard. Earlier this week Golden Vessel’s manager linked me to a private stream of this debut EP “Before Sleep”. For the next 25 minutes I went on a sonic adventure through the visionary mind of GV. This EP features an incredible lineup of vocalists including Woodes, Okbadlands, MTNS, Lastlings and Abraham Tilbury. If you asked me to pick a favorite I think it would be very difficult. The EP is a cohesive piece of art with each song perfectly placed in order to create a map that guides you along. So before you sleep tonight, promise me two things.
1. Listen to the EP from start to finish. 2. Share it with one other friend who you know will love the vibes. I shared it with two people already and they are hooked. “The title of the ep was inspired by something Abraham Tilbury said the night we were writing the EP’s title-track. We were just mucking around with a beat and we came across some sounds that really got us inspired, then Abraham says to me “I have to finish this one before sleep tonight”.
