Although they are still riding the wave from their Swedish House Mafia influence, Axwell Λ Ingrosso took to 2015 to establish their new artist project at the helm of the big room house scene. The Swedish dyad ended the monumental year with their standout SiriusXM mix for Christmas Eve before starting again strong back in early January with their hard-hitting, instrumental-based single “Dream Bigger.”
Bouncing back two months later, Axwell recently responded to a fans’ inquiry about the release date of the duo’s highly-teased single “Barricade” and confirmed the track is set for release on March 4.
@exhibit_x @ingrosso 4 of march!

“Barricade” has been regularly used in Axwell Λ Ingrosso’s festival sets since Ultra Music Festival last March, including major stops at Tomorrowland and Stereosonic. The track contrasts a thumping, dark bassline with cheery pipe melodies bouncing atop, and based off of rips from their festival sets, “Barricade” could be one of the duo’s most standout tracks to date since the launch of their side project.
