Frans Zimmer, more commonly known by his stage name Alle Farben (which directly translates to all colors) has one of the most unique sounds coming out of the Berlin underground scene today. As he has demonstrated with past remixes, Zimmer possess a knack for delving into the world of electropop and reemerging with an alluring tech house influenced track.
His latest venture entails a fresh spin on Hooverphonic’s recently released “Badaboum.” Instantly toning down the orchestral elements of the original and removing the French vocal pieces, Zimmer seamlessly supplements these components with a swishy tech house bassline. In doing so, he has taken what started as a relatively simple, yet elegant track, and reimagined it as a fresh deep house melody, producing a remix that is both wistful and alluring.
