Since its launch in November of last year, Tchami’s Confession imprint has become one of the most prolific platforms for consistently high quality future house and bass house. Tchami’s modus operandi in selecting releases to back on the label seems to revolve around curating unique, electrifying tracks from dark horse producers.
The latest Confession release strongly fulfills the above criteria. Dancing Astronaut is pleased to premiere “Drop That” from up and coming Dijon-based duo Loge21. Driven by ominous melodies, G-house inspired vocal fills, and cerebrally gritty bass synthesis, “Drop That” is as well-suited for Tchami’s label as it would be for one of his DJ sets. With Loge21′s keen ability to capture the essence of the bass house movement without sacrificing originality, and their backing from the Confession and Spinnin’ imprints, the French duo are likely to soon break further into the public eye.
