Well, deadmau5 has had some kind of day. What started out as a benign SoundCloud hack quickly escalated into personal information leaks, bank account threats, and a host of other unnecessary harassment.
It would seem that his hackers, Our Time, weren’t too happy with deadmau5 sloughing off their SoundCloud takeover as no big deal. In retaliation, they flexed their muscles to find his credit card info, accountant’s office, and properties. They definitely dangled their legs in a lawsuit, but we’ll see what happens next. For now, mau5 plans to get down to some Overwatch.
