Sia and Diplo have joined forces for new collaboration “Waving Goodbye” as part of the soundtrack for Nicolas Winding Ref’s new film The Neon Demon.
The song features Sia’s yearning lyricism over a cinematic Diplo beat. It’s a far-cry from Pentz’s work as Major Lazer — void of any conspicuous dance-hall influence — but rather pushing a polished, pop product, that allows Sia’s emotive vocals ample space to breathe.
The song follows the pair’s previous collaboration on Sia’s “Elastic Heart,” and is available alongside the rest of the soundtrack to The Neon Demon now.
