Eric Prydz has given fans new cause for excitement, finally unveiling the two highly-anticipated tracks off of his forthcoming Cirez D EP in full. The double A-side, featuring “Into the Reds” and “Century of the Mouse,” will be released on the producer’s underground-leaning imprint Mouseville Records, with digital release set for Beatport on May 30 and limited red vinyl release on June 20.
“In the Reds” is darkly textural, with relentless kicks and claps building into a pounding techno drop. “Century of the Mouse,” which was played out during Prydz’s EPIC 4.0 tour, channels the hypnotic, progressive energy of the producer’s other aliases, while retaining the minimalistic backbone of his Cirez D project.
