‘HMU’ As Long As dwilly Is On The Track
I’m not sure if there’s a more relevant acronym right now that HMU. We all say it and unknowingly or not we use it all the time. The track is by dwilly featuring Meg Lieder on the vocals. Overall ‘HMU’ has a sweet and cute vibe from the main plucky sound and Lieder’s innocent voice. The drop has sort of a bouncy feel with the vocal chops on top of the smooth pulsing chords. I’m very much a fan of the way dwilly picks out his sounds. He does a great job of keeping them super diverse but still manages to keep them in the same vein. After dwilly’s previous release ‘Dreamland’ with Emilia Ali debuted at 24 on the iTunes Pop Charts it’s clear that he’s got something special about him.
