Jayceeoh And Styles & Complete Gives “2 Phones” A Trap Flip
When you see these two names next to each other on a track, that being Jayceeoh and Styles & Complete, you know something good has got to be cookin’. Well these guys teamed up for a remix of Kevin Gates’s “2 Phones” and they brought those uplifting trap vibes with them. Using high-pitched percussion sounds mixed with a future bass synth, they give the song a new life and will get those trap arms going and the body bobbing back-and-forth to the beat of the song. This high-pitched percussion sound is beginning to be used more and more in the trap game, most notably by the likes of Marshmello, and it sounds great. We hear the same kicks, snares, and 808s in many trap songs, and not that we’re complaining about that when they’re utilized right, but hearing new elements being utilized is refreshing.
