Hello friends. This is my new funk band… the Matt Savage Groove Experiment!
We do lots of covers, but we also do new tunes of mine that are separate from my jazz trio compositions. This is our version of Daft Punk’s 2013 disco smash hit “Get Lucky.” But we do it in 7/4 time.
This piece was recorded during our fourth gig, at Boston’s Midway Cafe, on January 20, 2016.
