After two days of investigations and raids, iconic Ibiza nightclub Amnesia faces more trouble after authorities found €2 million hidden inside. The club’s owner, Martin Ferrer, was arrested with three others in connection to a drug-related operation, with the Guardia Civil spending 17 hours yesterday in the nightclub.
Spanish police continued their investigation today, July 6, with tools to unearth secret and hidden compartments in the club, according to the local newspaper, Diario de Ibiza. No official statement has been released yet for the investigation findings conducted by the Ibiza Tax Agency and the Organized Crime and Anti-Drug Team.
Authorities will continue to search the club’s property, following their seizure of assets from the homes and banks of the suspects. Amidst all the investigations, Amnesia’s techno party, HYTE, will still take place tonight.
