While Coachella has gone and went, Palm Springs is gearing up for its next festival full of crazed dance fans, Splash House. Ahead of the two-day festival featuring Bonobo, Hot Chip, and Thomas Jack at the top of the bill for the June edition, Soulection offspring, Sam Gellaitry, gives an insight into his bass-throbbing, synth-blasting future set in the desert.
Blending newcomers Jackal, Bonnie X Clyde, and Jamiroquai with dance heavyweights Thundercat, Flying Lotus, and OutKast, Gellaitry paints a mosaic of urban, indie, and electronic tones to create the perfect pregame playlist for the SoundCloud kids heading down to dance poolside at Splash House.
