The Jersey Club master is at is again.
As the countdown to Trippy Turtle‘s debut EP ticks away, the producer has allowed us sneak peek at what we’re in store for with the new compilation. The track, titled “Animal,” features his trademark minimalist bouncing style. Complete with the genre’s signature bed squeaks and echoing “Fofofadi” vocal drops, “Animal” is groovy in its own unique way.
“Animal” begins and ends as a slow jam, but picks up quickly with a spirited variety of percussion and choppy vocals. The track’s vocals hit on topics ranging from threesomes with bunnies, purple drinks and skydiving — as one does. Though the subject matter might seem all over the place, Trippy has the distinct ability to tie together a bizarre range of musical elements that wouldn’t otherwise fit together.
