If you were already in on Play It Down’s warped stand on the global house circuit then Jesse Rose’s A-Sided is sure to have turned a head. For those less privy to Rose’s reliable sub-label, the past year and a bit has seen the brand set a suitably high bar in the wake of debut release ‘Bare Mountain’ alongside Claude VonStroke.
As part of A-Sided’s inaugural compilation offering, Trozé returns to follow-up on 2015′s ‘Chocolate’ with an exclusive cut for the celebratory album. The thuggish beats and sloppy leads are everything we have loved about the label’s ungroomed sound, giving Trozé another fine moment in the spotlight with a label whose consistent output is trumped only by the ongoing quality of their tunes.
