Although it might seem like yesterday that Armin van Buuren, Maykel Piron, and David Lewis built their iconic brand and dance music visionary, Armada Music, it’s been a decade and a half since they began implementing their respective knowledge and visions into the music scene as we know it. Now, as Armada Music looks back on 15 years, they’ve decided to celebrate the milestone with the release of a brand-new, 4-CD compilation album, Armada 15 Years.
Armada 15 Years was thus created with the hopes that music lovers from all over the world can revel in 100 of the Amsterdam-based record label’s most iconic releases. Digging into the core of what makes the label unique, Armada explores its essential tracks like Chicane’s “Offshore,” Dash Berlin’s “Here Tonight,” and Vincent de Moor’s “Fly Away.” Fans can also look to the highlights that have dominated charts and festivals across the globe in the past few years.
By spotlighting the evolution of the label, while managing to highlight its trailblazing traits, Armada 15 Years boils down to a coveted piece of timeless dance music history.
