Bad Boy Bill And Richard Vission Take It Back To The Old School
Being from Chicago there’s artists who stand out and then there’s artists who paved the way for those stand outs. Bad Boy Bill is one of those who paved that road for many artists and now he’s back along with Richard Vission to say they haven’t gone anywhere. Embarking on a tour that will be strictly vinyl, the two also have some new music to share with the world. “Everybody Jumpin” is a super groovy, old school, house track. It’s got a steady thump to it with an upbeat vibe ready to get any party started. I love the vocal chop work done as well as how they’ve manipulated the voice of Jackie Boyz. These kings of house music have proven that while the styles of music have changed over the years, you can’t help but ignore the roots and where it all came from. Hearing stuff like this is such a great change of pace and I definitely wouldn’t be opposed to more of it.
