The team at HypeBeast recently caught up with Dillon Francis during his Asia tour in order get a close look at all of his touring must-haves. As part of their Essentials series, the visit revealed all of the particular items that Dillon brings with him while on the road, all the way from laptops to herbal medicine.
As far as clothing goes, Dillon always makes sure to carry his YEEZY Boost 350 V2 sneakers, as well as his collection of caps, sunglasses and a custom-made “In Memory of Taylor Swift” shirt. Meanwhile, on the tech side of things, Dillon carries two Mac laptops on tour, one for DJing and one for producing. He also owns both an iPhone and Google Pixel, but told Hype Beast that he prefers the photo quality of the Pixel above all else (our own staff agrees).
He uses a pair of striking, red David Guetta Beats Mixr headphones, which have since been discontinued, and even carries mysterious pouches of “herbal medicine” from his father.
“My dad is an alternative medicines doctor, and [these powders are] the essential for when I travel, because when I start getting sick I just have this stuff and it works. I’ve taken it all my life, it tastes like Jägermeister.”
Finally, during his visit with Hype Beast, Dillon even mentioned that he has a collaboration with rapper G-Eazy in the works, which you might have heard a bit of on one of his many Instagram Live sessions lately. “I’m actually working on a song with G-Eazy right now, and it has both the R&B and the super turn up dance part.”
