It’s April Fool’s Day in case you haven’t heard. If you’ve been keeping up, Swedish House Mafia is going on a world tour, Jack Ü is getting back together, and Rezz is actually an alien. Oh yeah, and deadmau5 has revealed himself as Marshmello.
Everyone in the EDM world is getting through today just like the rest of us, by cracking jokes and not taking anything too seriously. Rather than fooling anyone, Deorro, Kill the Noise, Slushii and more prove they should stick to DJing with the following tweets — lol!
We have to give props to Spring Awakening Music Festival, which probably had the most believable April Fool’s joke out of anyone today. Just see the “Important Festival Update” below as it concerns rail riders. The BUKU Project is entitled to honorable mention, but no one is actually believing they’re switching their eclectic hip hop and electronic lineup to one that’s strictly country.
