Flosstradamus consisting of Chicago based DJs Josh Young (J2K) and Curt Cameruci (Autobot) have been making ill beats and remixing big named tracks since 2006. I finally feel like they’re making it, playing big venues on their most recent tour with Dillion Francis. Floss and Dillion Francis stopped in town March 8, playing the Congress Theater. Dillion Francis of course was the headliner, but i felt as if most of the crowd came for Flosstradamus. Opening with Lana’s Theme just made their set that much better.
Playing other hits such as Piss Test, Total Recall, Look At the Sky, Roll-up, and of course Original Don with a great light show, they simply put on a great show. After killing the big named venue of Congress Theater, they flew down to Ultra and absolutely blew the roof off both weekends! Returning to their Underground Nights Tour, they already have five shows sold out with more to be soon. I love the fact that Autobot is constantly repping his city of Chicago with Bulls snapback and Derrick Rose jersey, showing that not only house music can come from Chicago. If you haven’t seen Flosstradamus yet I highly recommend seeing them in a town near you or in their hometown Chicago for Spring Awakening Music Festival June 14-16. http://www.facebook.com/flossstradamus
