UK duo Hybrid Minds had a hit on their hands with their single “Solitude,” which came out last year. A deliciously sumptuous track with all the trappings of liquid gold, “Solitude” is peaceful and beautiful. But while it’s a wonderfully composed track, it lacked a lot of the punch desired in a live setting… enter Diamond Eyes.
As beautiful as the original “Solitude” is, Diamond Eyes has created what could amount to a timeless track here. Taking only the most essential parts of the original, this remix plays a harder version of “Solitude” that embellishes on the melody, utilizes heavier synth work, and still comes out as incredibly breathtaking. That drop melody alone is enough to seriously send chills over my entire body.
