It’s not surprising in this inflammatory climate that even dance music is getting more political. It’s come in a variety of different flavors, most recently Imad Royal and Elliphant’s “War Song.”
Embracing the sort of left field production of PC Music and imbuing it with their own style, this is a collaboration that is all sorts of memorable. The production is simple, but wholly sufficient, and Elliphant absolutely kills those vocals.
