Matoma is the latest dance music artist to hit the mainstream circuit with “Wonderful Life (Mi Oh My),” his original composition for The Angry Birds Movie. Chicago-based Kiso felt the original’s “feel good vibes” and took it upon himself to cover the track, recruiting Kayla Diamond to contribute vocals.
Kiso dilutes the tropical house overtones for a rework that’s more vocal-focused and less kid-friendly. His remix of “Wonderful Life (Mi Oh My)” retains the original’s sunny disposition by flipping it into a track that’s perfect for this summer’s party playlist.
