Krewella have been denied entry into India and will not be able to perform at Sunburn, Asia’s largest music festival. The Yousaf sisters were scheduled to play this week on Thursday, December 29 but will not be able to enter the country in time to perform.
Krewella took to social media to break the news, citing their Pakistani heritage as the cause of their repeated visa denials. “We hope the state of affairs between the two countries can be resolved someday soon,” they wrote.
While Krewella are ‘heartbroken’ over the news, they’ve promised fans they’ll figure out a way to make it up for it soon. Read their hand-written letter below:
