Big Gigantic surprised fans today by releasing their remix of “Wave” by Major Lazer. No April Fool’s joke here, as this remix is truly funky and available as a direct free download. Following up their last release, “The Little Things,” which was a classic Big Gigantic tune, the Colorado-based live electronic duo decided to depart from the sound by which they are known. Instead of the usual sax-influenced groove, they bring out a new future bass side of their sound. Hopefully they will continue to test the waters outside of the norm, because with this remix, it ultimately worked spectacularly in their favor.
