Following several years of inactivity, the Italian techno maven Dema has joined forces with UK-hailing Paride Saraceni, forming a project they’ve dubbed The Remedy, a two-track EP on the Italian-based Redrum Music.
Their charged collaboration has even attracted the liking of one of techno’s most statically charged acts, the divine Nicole Moudaber.
Exhibiting her cinematically-inclined, ominous nature, Moudaber takes off on the duo’s “Betrayal,” where she exudes her foreboding acumen with meticulous mastery in under just nine minutes.
Between a dramatically pleasing employment of subtle distortion and her skillful synthesis of transmitting obscure rhythm, Moudaber’s take on “Betrayal” is poised with lurking intensity.
The Remedy EP is out on Redrum Music November 20. Pre-order the vinyl here.
