German artist Phace has made quite a name for himself in the DnB scene. The veteran producer has established a reputation for his formidable style, and has lived up to expectations with his latest track, “Connected. Teasing the song via SoundCloud, Phace has once again delivered an electrifying production, much to the delight the avid bass music fanatics who follow him.
“Connected” has a certain unshakable eeriness to it. The intro strongly evokes airs of a Sci-Fi horror movie, as Phace melds heavy chord progressions with odd, garbled voice sample. The smoldering intro provides an ideal platform for the song to explode, which it duly does, erupting into a glorious cacophony of bass-laden drums, ferocious leads, and a fever pitch tempo. The result of this is a track which can incinerate dance floors, or the listener’s headphones; turning even the most casual of dancers into a head banging maniac. “Connected” will be released January 17 on Blackout Music as part of Phace’s forthcoming Plastic Acid EP.
