[Premiere] OMNOM shares bass-dripping Insomniac release with Zendlo, ‘Methane’

With an already laudable list of label stops (i.e. Dirtybird and House Of Hustle) in 2018 under his arm, OMNOM is picking up the pace yet again with his newest Insomniac collab with LA native, Zendlo, “Methane.” The release comes just before the San Franciscan producer makes a sundry of stops on his spooky-certified October/November agenda, which includes HARD Day Of The Dead, Brooklyn’s Warehouse of Horrors, and SCREAM in Edmonton.

“As a DJ, sometimes you need to play a track with bass fat enough to kick the crowd in their chests, but ‘Methane’ is the track you play when you need to kick them in their genitals,” OMNOM says of the rumbling production.

“Methane” sees OMNOM and Zendlo deliver a heady dose of percolating bass lines and off-the-wall vocal cuts, resulting in a house track best suited for dance floors of an extraterrestrial variety. The production includes both eerily ambient and ricocheting, laser-like synth patterns, as the clapping four-on-the-floor beat solidifies its decisive danceability.
