The Radar 93: Mixed by Sondr

Sondr are still in the nascent stages of their career in electronic music, however the duo looks to have a promising future in store. Their debut single, “Surviving,” caught the attention of fans everywhere around a year ago, amassing nearly two million plays on SoundCloud to date and landing them a deal with Universal. Sondr also released their second original work this year with Peg Parnevik, which has also earned them quite a few accolades across the dance music industry.

The two have now packaged their joyous EDM sound into a tidy mix for The Radar. Sondr demonstrate their mixing skills quite nicely, opening up with mellowed, instrumental house cuts and showing off a multitude of clever remixes and edits in the process. They weave pieces together in a way that keeps listeners fully engaged, with the mix climaxing into a high-charged cluster pieces built to get feet moving. The vibe Sondr create is overwhelmingly bright, a perfect fit for blasting in the car on summer drives.
