[TSS Premiere] Tascione Shows He Is An “Enigma” With This New Original
Tascione (formerly TA$C!ONE) has been a unique presence in trap music since we first got wind of him. The trap and bass producer out of Philadelphia has not conformed to the mainstream and it has put him in an interesting place in the trap game. Today he has dropped his debut EP “Smoke & Mirrors” and within the EP is the song “Enigma” which I believe is the perfect word to describe him and his style.
“Enigma” is a triumphant song with glorified drums and horns taking hold of the buildup while screeching and wretched synths creating the drop. This one doesn’t hit you hard like some of his other songs, but shows that he has versatility in his production style and can create something that is more musically friendly while still holding true to his sound and his distinctiveness.

As we all know UZ is one of the most prevalent and forward-thinking minds in the genre so for him to sign this EP as one the label’s first releases, it really speaks volume to Tascione’s sound.
