Quality Goods has announced the May 11 release date of its label head and OG trap producer, UZ‘s newest LP, Rebirth. To coincide with the news, UZ has released a single track from the collection, “Leave It,” featuring the teal-bearded hip-hop artist, Rome Fortune.
“Leave It Alone” combines UZ’s finely tuned trap sensibilities with Fortune’s crisp rap vocals. UZ’s heavily layered production shines through the track’s bumping beat and whistling melody, an exquisite contrast beneath Fortune’s foreboding lyrics.
