Friday the 13th is upon us, and that means the freaks are out to play.
Producer duo VOVIII has just released their The 13th EP, including the terrifying song that pays tribute to the scariest clown of the them all, “Pennywise.”
The first drop of the track, as well as the whole intro, pays definite homage to the clown and original score, playing with bass notes and chimes to emulate the original melody. While this part of the track works, it’s admittedly not the strongest. However, I’m glad I stuck through to the end because the second drop is downright filthy – once VOVIII does away with the playfulness, the clown gets nasty.
